The new story is about Adrenaline, the daughter of Vercingetorix, but an important theme seems to be teenagers!

Imprtnatly: Obeliz is one of these teenagers :) Under the header "A perpetual teenager in the village" we see a frame of the new book where Obelix cries out (to Asterix) "Boohoohoohoo! The other teenagers don't like me!!!".

In the last album, Asterix and the Chariot Race, Obelix took the leading role in the adventure. In Asterix and the Chieftain’s Daughter, the menhir deliveryman’s part is still on the same scale where menhirs are concerned, but Adrenalin seems to have completely usurped his status as leader! Obelix ends up grumpy, jealous and totally flummoxed by the way of life that the village youngsters want to adopt. He only needs to wear his helmet sideways and he’d make the perfect perpetual teenager in the village after all, just a little older than the others!

Hi everyone, what was everyone's thoughts on this book? I enjoyed it I have it in English,nederlands and Deutsch. Still getting used to the new English translator

The book now has a second English translation, or perhaps rather American translation, by the US publisher Papercutz.
It is called "The chieftain’s daughter", so not "... and the ...".

For now Papercutz is publishing omnibusses, that is three titles in a book, titles chosen in the chronological order. See your local bookshop.
